According to the association, CRFA director Diana Coutu of Winnipeg and CEO Garth Whyte met with Selinger to discuss several Manitoba restaurant success stories and the importance of the industry, which is one of the province’s largest employers, with nearly 39,000 direct employees. It also provides one in five jobs for people under the age of 25.
