CALGARY — According to a recent report from the CBC News, local Calgary restaurant owner Kirk Watson says his restaurant, Nellie’s in the Loop, is suffering significantly after another chain of brunch joints, with a similar name, was cited for multiple health violations and recently fined more than $60,000.

While Watson says it may be time to rebrand, Nellie’s (the chain) owner, Roxanne Taylor-King, told CBC News that it might just be the end of the line for her popular breakfast eateries.
