WINNIPEG — Milestones and the Pizzeria Gusto Group are among the restaurants that will open on the site of the Centrepoint redevelopment project under construction in Winnipeg.

“Centrepoint is excited to officially announce two restaurant tenants: Milestones Grill & Bar and a new Pizzeria Gusto Group restaurant,” reads the company’s Twitter post.

VANCOUVERCampagnolo Restaurants is appealing to allergy concerns with the introduction of its gluten-free cannelloni that was developed after months of testing.

"It was imperative that we didn't just make a gluten-free pasta; rather, we make a pasta that we as chefs would want to eat that just so happens to be gluten-free," explained Ted Anderson, the company’s executive chef.

CALGARY — Ten top restaurant critics have launched an Eat Canada app, a Canuck restaurant guide for the business traveller.

“Eat Canada is the country's first national, critic-driven restaurant app,” reads an iTunes store description. “Focused on the business traveller and the downtown cores, this app helps you find a good meal or fine beverages in an unknown city.”

WINNIPEG — Winnipeg’s Red River College is set to become a major culinary player in Canada. After investing millions towards rejuvenating the historic Union Bank Tower in the city’s downtown exchange district, the Paterson Global Foods Institute, the School of Hospitality and Culinary Arts, will open its doors to students Feb. 21.
