TImHortonsVisaTORONTO — Starting today, Tim Hortons customers will be able to pay for their coffee, breakfast, lunch or other menu items using Visa credit and prepaid cards across Canada.

"We're excited to be bringing the convenience, speed and security of Visa payments to Tim Hortons restaurants across the country," said Jim Allhusen, Country Manager, Visa Canada.

“It’s the sweetness, it’s the dessert delivery, and it’s what you can’t replicate as a consumer,” Holly Wyatt, director of Marketing for Toronto’s Kirkwood Group was quoted as saying by the paper.

Vancouver Sun: Green Table Network to Expand PDF Print E-mail

VANCOUVER — The Green Table Network (GTN) B.C. restaurant certification system, in partnership with Surety Group, is preparing to relaunch across Canada, according to The Vancouver Sun.

GTN originally launched in 2007 but had to charge higher fees for its services during the recession. “It was a labour intensive process and we had to charge for that,” he said.
