A wonderful spring lunch idea or a great addition to a buffet!

Plain, simple, no frills, basic red sauce that tastes great on a variety of pasta and is not watered down. For making a good sauce, use canned tomatoes. Except for the summer months, the 'fresh' tomatoes are usually harvested when green and left a long time to ripen. Add more red pepper flakes if you like your sauce spicy!
This light citrus salad is a perfect starter for those hot summer days. Fresh fennel, green apple, parsley and mint create a delicious meal when complimented with pork, chicken or grilled fish.
A delicious twist to an old favourite! Butternut squash mixed with honey and Gorgonzola cheese creates a robust dish pretty for a cold autumn day!
