Winterlicious, Toronto’s annual mid-winter food festival, is offering two programs in 2012 — the Winterlicious Culinary Events Series and the Prix-Fixe Promotion — from Jan. 27 to Feb. 9.
“Winterlicious continues to successfully support Toronto's restaurant industry and generate significant economic activity,” Rob Ford, Toronto’s Mayor, said of the annual celebration, which began 10 years ago.
LOS ANGELES — It seems Beso, the Los Angeles restaurant that’s partly owned by Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria, is the subject of a lawsuit from a diner who allegedly slipped on the floor and injured herself, reports the Winnipeg Free Press.
According to the paper, in the obtained court documents, the woman claims she got up from her chair and "suddenly slipped and fell due to the floor being extremely slippery.”
