Sodexo North America has named Olivier Poirot senior vice-president and CEO, leading the North American finance and risk-management functions.

Vancouver’s West restaurant has named Quang Dang its new executive chef and Owen Knowlton its new restaurant director.

TORONTO — Celebrity chef Corbin Tomaszeski has been appointed executive chef at Toronto’s Royal Ontario Museum (ROM). He fills the spot left by Ted Corrado who has been appointed regional executive chef for Compass Leisure (a subsidiary of Compass Group Canada).

MILAN, Italy — Champion Industries, an Ali Group company specializing in designing, manufacturing, marketing and servicing of commercial foodservice equipment, has named Jay Bravinder director of Sales for its Champion and Bi-Line brands.

Bravinder brings extensive sales management and warewashing experience, including his most recent role as equipment sales manager for Strategic Equipment and Supply Corporation, where he was responsible for managing project teams and national accounts within the dealer community.
