The name says it all here: “Ideas Kitchen” at hogatec 2010 – International Trade Fair Hotels, Gastronomy, Catering shows an abundance of ideas and concepts for the entire industry – for eight hours, live and on 600 square metres. And much like with a successful recipe the right ingredients play a decisive role here. And the ingredients come in the form of the 20 participating partner businesses, including Meiko, Convotherm, Electrolux, Karl Kemper Convenience, Bear Grill and Patisserie Walter, who together demonstrate their core competencies. This has never been done before in this form.
The large Show kitchen, the bar area, but also the dishwashing centre of glass demonstrate what really works. Here solutions are not shown in high-gloss brochures, but instead demonstrated live. In the process, absolute effectiveness in practice and content that is easily understandable to the trade fair visitors are always the primary priorities according to the man who conceived the Ideas Kitchen, Stefan Cammann.
In the restaurant with a similar ambiance, and in the roughly 150 seats, one can experience – in the most pleasant manner – how challenges such as a lack of qualified personnel, cost pressure or faltering qualities can be successfully met.
Hogatec 2010 is held at the Dusseldorf Exhibition Centre from Sunday, 23 to Wednesday, 15 September 2010, and open daily from 10:00am to 6:00pm. 1-day tickets cost EUR 30.00 (EUR 18.00 when purchased online in advance, plus p&p) while 2-day tickets cost EUR 47 (EUR 35 online). Students and trainees pay EUR 10.00. All tickets include free travel to and from the Exhibition Centr on public transport within the networks of the VRR (Verkehrsverbund-Rhein-Ruhr) transport authority.
