Paul Guardian, execetive director of Brand Operations at Delta Hotels and Resorts, brought five teams to support the cause. Other companies who participated in the stationary bike-a-thon included The Intercontinental Hotels Group, Groupe Germain, AVW- Telav, GFS Canada, Oliver and Bonacini Restaurants and many others. Over the past 24 years, the event has raised more than $30 million. The amount raised yesterday is yet to be been announced. TORONTO — Members of the foodservice and hospitality industry traded their suits for T-shirts yesterday in support of the JDRF Ride for Diabetes Research stationary corporate team bike-a-thon at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
