“We hope this event removes the need for expensive tickets and dressing up,” says John Britton, executive director, the Maritime Heart Center. “We want Haligonians to go out en-masse on one night and have dinner with friends and family at participating establishments.” Participating restaurants include Baton Rouge, Cafe Chianti, Chives, Economy Shoe Shop, Estia, Fid, Harbour City, Mexico Lindo, Moda, Morris East, Onyx, Pipa, Rockbottom Brewpub, Saege and Vinnie’s Pasta Bar. The Maritime Heart Center, a facility providing care to cardiovascular patients in Halifax, is a registered, non-profit organization.
