HALIFAX — Fresh oysters with ginger and cucumber ice, roasted pheasant breast with cress salad and seared lamb rack with mint sauce, are just a few of the dishes on the menu at The Press Gang Restaurant and Oyster bar, from today until Monday, as the Halifax restaurant commemorates the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic.

HALIFAX — Organizers of Apex — a foodservice and hospitality show for the Maritimes — are preparing Halifax’s Exhibition Park for the event, which runs this weekend, from April 15 to 16.

The show begins with a charity breakfast, Sunday, April 15, with chefs from Culinary Team Nova Scotia and the Nova Scotia community college cooking for show visitors. Proceeds from the breakfast will support Feed Nova Scotia.
